Britania Latronica, Ph.D

Dr. Britania Latronica is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in psychological testing. She completed dual bachelor’s degrees in psychology and business administration and management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She earned her master’s degree and doctorate in Psychology at Wichita State University. She has extensive training in educational and psychological assessment of children, adults, and older adults.

Dr. Latronica has conducted a wide variety of testing batteries with adults and children in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and has experience in a wide array of assessments, including evaluations for developmental disabilities, personality assessment, neurological/cognitive assessments, evaluating competency to make healthcare or financial decisions, as well as competency to stand trial.

Dr. Latronica’s primary theoretical orientation is Third-wave Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, specifically Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has over 5 years of training as an ACT therapist providing treatment to both adults and older adults. She provides treatment for a wide range of presenting concerns for both individuals and groups.

She is passionate about helping others alleviate psychological pain and find new ways of living. One of her goals as a psychologist is to help in furthering the development of empirically-based interventions as well as the dissemination of psychological research in the service of decreasing human suffering within our world.
